Michael’s passion for landscaping began at a young age working as a waterer at a local nursery in his hometown of Newtown, Connecticut. Discovering how much he enjoyed working with plants, he soon transitioned to work in the landscape division within the same company and subsequently decided to study horticulture. After graduating from SUNY with a focus on plant science and landscape design, he began designing beautiful outdoor spaces for a landscape design/build company serving Fairfield County, Connecticut. His love of Maine inspired him to relocate, and he has spent many years working throughout Maine for respected landscape firms as well as running his own landscape design company. In addition to his role as Landscape Project Manager, Michael is a full-time Firefighter and AEMT with the City of Bath
