We are thrilled to announce the promotion of Katryn Mitchell to Vice President. Since joining Knickerbocker Group in early 2024, Katryn has made a significant impact on our operations, bringing her expertise, strategic insight, and collaborative leadership style to every aspect of our work.
With 20 years of experience in engineering, project management, and operations, Mitchell has led complex and high-profile construction projects, including serving as a Program Manager for one of Maine’s largest construction initiatives—a $1.4 billion transmission project— that was delivered on time and under budget. She has also been instrumental in scaling a previous company from 180 to over 300 employees in just three years.
A licensed Professional Engineer in Maine and Illinois and a Project Management Professional, Katryn’s expertise spans multiple industries, including electric power, water and wastewater, environmental remediation, regulatory compliance, and residential and commercial land development. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Maine and an MBA from the University of Southern Maine.
In her new role as Vice President, Katryn will continue to drive strategic initiatives, enhance operational efficiencies, and foster communication across all departments. We are confident that her leadership will further strengthen our company and support the growth and success of our employee-owners.
