Born and bred in Saco, Maine, Sarah embarked on her academic journey at Champlain College, earning a BS in graphic design and digital media. Her wanderlust led her across the vast landscapes of Europe and Asia. But the pull of Maine’s charm? Too strong to resist. Sarah returned to Maine with an enriched global perspective, channeling her skills into enhancing local brands and playing pivotal roles in both a renowned performing arts initiative and an award-winning magazine.
Drawn by its compelling portfolio and ethos, Sarah found her creative haven at Knickerbocker Group, joining their marketing and design team. Here, she marries her passion for profound design with her commitment to impactful storytelling.
Outside the professional realm, Sarah and her partner Brandon have embraced the challenges and rewards of DIY home projects. Yet, they never miss an opportunity to savor Portland’s culinary delights, hunt for local treasures, or enjoy outdoor escapades, always accompanied by Ollie, their spirited Pembroke Welsh Corgi.
KG CULTURE, MISSION + VALUES
It’s not just about the jaw-dropping craftsmanship. It’s how every single one of us, from design to construction, property management, and even the team behind the scenes, pour our heart and soul into every project. There’s this unique KG fingerprint on everything we do. And then there’s the way we roll in Maine—always pitching in, always caring. It’s not just a job with KG, it’s like being in this big, warm, talented family that’s always got your back.
LIFE IN MAINE
Whenever the topic of Maine comes up, my mind immediately drifts to the little moments and the changing seasons. It’s all about those tranquil lake mornings, sun-soaked days on the beach, carving paths at the mountain, and the rustle of autumn leaves underfoot. And you can’t forget about the lively pulse of Portland’s Old Port each weekend. Unbeatable. Living here isn’t just about geography—it’s an emotion all its own. I can’t imagine being anywhere else.
