A native of midcoast Maine, Allyson returned to pursue her design career after receiving a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Wentworth Institute of Technology. In prior roles, Allyson contributed to the design of healthcare, education, and commercial facilities from Portland, Maine to Portland, Oregon. At Knickerbocker Group, she works directly with our clients—enthusiastically immersed in the details, she turns their vision into beautifully designed spaces. Inspired by color and texture, Allyson loves incorporating new and unexpected elements into her designs.
Allyson relishes in the beauty of life in Maine, from its iconic beaches, wandering through downtown Portland, to enjoying good food with friends. She is also an active Board Member of the Maine Interior Design Association (MIDA) where she enjoys collaborating with fellow design professionals.

KG Culture, Mission + Values
Allyson takes notice of just how much Knickerbocker Group cares for employees. Having the opportunity to meet people between KG office locations, paired with meeting colleagues at the many events we support and network, is a total plus.
Life in Maine
Waking up to the ocean smell in summer… the Back Cove is a favorite. Moving to Portland has been ideal, as Allyson notes it is the perfect size city after attending school in Boston. The food scene is unreal, too, from Batson River and ViA VECCHiA.
