Kendra Furber

Designer, Architecture

As an architectural designer, Kendra curates the production of architectural drawings that represent the design decisions per project. Her role includes attending meetings and site visits as well as developing the documentation and drawings that result in the construction of designs. As a recent graduate, Kendra brings a youthful energy and urgent curiosity to the team.

Kendra first came to Knickerbocker Group in 2022 on a 6 month-long internship during her final semester at the University of Maine at Augusta. Upon graduating with a Bachelor of Architecture, she began working full-time as a designer at a firm in New York. While working in New York, Kendra worked on numerous restaurants, residential projects, and even a couple of churches.

In the community

An active member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit #136, Kendra has volunteered her time over the past 12 years to benefit suppers, auctions, and other fundraising events that aid our veterans and others in need.

KG culture, mission + values

At Knickerbocker Group, everyone is connected. There is such a deep-rooted sense of community at this company where the culture goes beyond day-to-day work and communications. We bond through work activities, design events, as well as passions and hobbies that we share. I strongly value the support to continuously improve oneself regarding education and knowledge through the work environment.

Life in Maine

Maine is home and Kendra holds a deeply rooted adoration for the places and people in this state. Growing up in Aroostook County, she loves trekking & camping in the woods during the warmer seasons, kayaking on Madawaska Lake, and quite enjoys Nordic skiing in the winter months. She also loves the coastal region—

especially the town of Camden where she briefly lived and walk the shoreline picking sea glass and colorful stones before having a delicious dinner downtown.
