Having spent much of his career working for design/build firms across the country, Paul has been able to immerse himself in various environments including the Pacific Northwest, suburbs of Boston, and the lake region of New Hampshire. Each role has given Paul something new to add to his toolbox from plant design and client interaction to construction document production. At Knickerbocker Group, Paul will bring these skills to our growing Landscape Architecture division where he will work with clients along with our architecture team to create master plans for properties. Once plans are approved, Paul then manages all necessary details including plant and stone selection to budget and construction timelines.
When it comes to his design process, Paul enjoys being an active listener. He likes to let the client do the talking while he asks questions as to how they like to live both inside and outside. This perspective allows Paul to then design outdoor experiences that will enhance their lifestyle and the enjoyment of their property. He is a firm believer that design should be a fun process, where clients feel like active participants and enjoy a positive outcome. Paul holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Cornell University and a Master’s in Plant Science from the University of Georgia School of Landscape Architecture.
