ABOUT

Paul Cady, PLA

Project Designer, Licensed Landscape Architect, ME + CT

Prior to joining KG, Paul has immersed himself in diverse environments including the Pacific Northwest, the suburbs of Boston, and the lakes region of New Hampshire. Each role has equipped Paul with new skills, from plant design and client interaction to construction document production. At Knickerbocker Group, Paul brings these experiences to our expanding Landscape Architecture division. He collaborates with clients and our architecture team to create master plans for properties. Once a concept is approved, Paul works with the construction department and allied industries to develop the details that transform the project from paper into its built form, including plant and stone selection, budgeting, and construction timelines.

In his design process, Paul values active listening. He allows clients to express how they live both indoors and outdoors, asking questions that help him design outdoor experiences that enhance their lifestyle and enjoyment of their property. Paul believes that design should be a fun and engaging process where clients feel like active participants and achieve a positive outcome. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Plant Science from Cornell University and a Master’s in Landscape Architecture from the University of Georgia.
