ABOUT

Andrew Clark

Architectural Design Intern

A native of rural Kentucky, Andrew is a recent graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a bachelor’s in architecture and a certificate in green roofing. He has held internships at a design firm in Atlanta and an amusement park firm in Boulder before working as a designer on net-zero parks and playscapes for a nonprofit outdoor education foundation in Cincinnati. His background also includes working on private studies of robotic 3D printing of lightweight building materials, using code to mimic growth patterns found in nature.

In his position at Knickerbocker Group, Andrew enjoys helping clients fully realize a project through 3D modeling and rendering. He loves overseeing the small design choices that ultimately make big differences to clients, and he particularly appreciates the direct relationships and intimate world of residential design.

He lives in Portland with his girlfriend, who’s also in the architectural field, and enjoys kayaking, playing tennis, listening to and playing music, and leatherwork.
