ABOUT

Angela Ballard, NCIDQ + LEED AP ID+C

Design Studio + Operations Leader, Interiors

Angie moved to Maine to reconnect with her coastal roots from years of vacationing and working in seaside communities. She joined Knickerbocker Group to continue her passion—designing spaces that inspire practicality, leisure, and comfort, while connecting an interior environment with its surrounding influences.

Angie is a graduate of Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston. She started working in the commercial interior design industry before realizing she enjoyed designing an array of styles and projects, including residential spaces.

She has worked at firms in Boston, Cape Cod, and Washington D.C.; however, she prefers the ease and life found in Maine’s coastal communities. Angie completed her NCIDQ exam and LEED accreditation to further her knowledge of interior and sustainable design best practices. An AIA award winner, Angie’s experiences have expanded her knowledge of interdisciplinary practices and the importance of strong relationships accompanied by streamlined processes between departments.

In her free time, Angie can be found renovating her family’s fixer upper, hunting for vintage finds, volunteering with shelter pets, or spending time with her husband, two sons, and family pup, exploring the coast of Maine.
