ABOUT

Peter Nadeau

Project Designer, Interiors

Peter has 30+ years of experience as a master finish carpenter and architectural designer. He spent 18 of those years focusing his skills as an exhibit designer / Project Manager for the New England Aquarium and the Boston Museum of Science, in addition to exhibit projects for the Millennium Dome in London, Smithsonian, United States Naval Academy, PIXAR, United States Park Service, Peabody Essex Museum, and Mount Vernon Visitor Center. As a polymath, Peter has a skillset that is vast and varied and has allowed him to experience an array of projects.

Peter’s knowledge of architectural design, materials, and fabrication techniques along with his understanding of flow and movement, attention to detail, color, and intuitive use of balance and proportion meld to create unique and inviting environments tailored to each client’s needs.

Peter enjoys traipsing the endless Maine landscapes. Inspired by and capturing all the parts and pieces of the world we inhabit. He can often be found making delicious food, seeking things to photograph, or simply laying under the stars at his home, in Newcastle.

KG culture, mission + value

Peter loves the diversity of the people at Knickerbocker Group, all their experiences combined, give the team a wealth of knowledge. The get-it-done-spirit everyone embraces at the final push of a project is invaluable. Lastly, the annual Lobster Bake is a highlight for Peter, alongside the family dynamic we embrace at KG.

Life in Maine

Spring nights listening to the peepers gazing at the Milky Way. Walks on Popham beach any time of year. The bounty of the local farmers, from the oysters of Damariscotta River to the fresh cheeses from Koons Farm.

Waking up here every morning.
